Improve Yourself with Yoga
|
Yoga has been around in one form or another for
more than 1,000 years. Here’s a chance to improve your mind, body and spirit
through Yoga! Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to a beginning class where
they can explore the benefits of Yoga through a series of simple poses.
We will be offering teen yoga classes on Wednesday, May 21 from
3:30-4:30 p.m., in the Library Programming Center with Yoga Teacher James
Abney.
You will learn a few poses that should give you an idea of what yoga could
do for you. For the classes, wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat if
you have one.
The classes are free, but you must register to take part. You can
register online by using the library calendar by clicking here
or by calling the library at (586) 446-2640.
