Summer Reading for Teens
June 20-Aug. 13
Summer
is here and school is no longer in session, but that doesn’t mean you have
to stop reading and learning for fun!
Celebrate this year’s teen theme, You Are Here with our summer reading
program. It is for students in grades 7-12. The program runs from June 20
– Aug. 13.
Pick up a form in the library or by clicking
HERE. Read 10 books
or 1,500 pages and enter the titles on your form.
Return the form to earn a $5 bookstore gift card and other prizes.
Prizes are available from Aug. 15-Aug. 29. They are provided by the Friends
of the Library. The library will also feature programs where teens can find
themselves this summer. Teen Thursdays will continue through June, July and
August and will feature a wealth of programs, including movies, tattoos, a
swap meet and yoga.
Watch for these great events on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/
sterlingheightspubliclibrary) and on our Twitter feed (shpublib) as well
as the Sterling Heights Public Library’s Web site.
