Summer Reading for Kids
June 20-Aug. 13
Travel around the world in books this summer, right here at
the Sterling Heights Public Library.
Readers, listeners and babies (birth-2) are all invited to join the Summer
Reading Club, from June 20-Aug. 13.
• Fill out a
registration form and pick up a Summer Reading Passport. The passport has
eight pages, one for each week of Summer Reading. Read or listen to eight
books and write their titles on the passport pages.
• You may
read books from the library or books from your own home, on any topic you
wish. The world of books is a big one: you can choose from comics, picture
books, stories, informational books, and so much more. Summer reading is
meant to be fun reading, so read what you like!
• When you finish, bring the passport back to be stamped
between July 25-Aug. 13. You’ll receive a package of prizes, compliments of
the Friends of the Library. Congratulations!
