Weather

World Weather Information Service is brought to the web by the Hong Kong Observatory for the World Meteorological Organization and provides all sorts of weather information and data for over 1000 cities. It is available in English, Arabic, Chinese, and Portuguese.
National Climatic Data Center claims to be the world's largest archive of weather data.
The Weather Channel is one of the most comprehensive weather sites and is the doing of the cable tv channel. Also offers tips on coping with weather-related problems.
Franklin's Forecast has information for students about various weather phenomena and forecasting.
Mount Washington Observatory is a non-profit organization created to observe and record the extreme weather conditions of Mount Washington in the White Mountains. It offers webcams and all kinds of info for the Northeast.
WeatherNet is another source for weather know-how. Try the WeatherCams to see what's happening live at over 800 locations across North America.
Intellicast has United States and international weather including forecasts, satellite images, radar, and weather planners. There are also pollen reports, bad weather driving tips, and specialized sections for planning recreational activites (travel, golf, boating, skiing, gardening, etc.) with the weather in mind.
AccuWeather lets check out the weather for free. Another for-fee service offers more information and even custom services for those whose livelihood depends on weather.
Xtreme Weather catalogs the economic havoc caused by all sorts of weather phenomena.
For serious weather information check out the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Department of Atmospheric Sciences site. Besides information about the program, the site has a  listing of weather and internet resources.
Weather Underground has every weather detail for any zip code. For true weather junkies.
Weather Planner says "it is a great way to pick the date for a wedding, a trip, or a special event. Our forecasts give a proven, reliable view of the weather up to a year in advance.
